About

Sometimes, to the dismay of others, my storytelling can get lengthy as it bogs down (or should I say now, “blogs” down) on even the most minute details. It is those details that to me seem worthy of comment (you know Mark Twain sometimes did the same…not that my storytelling is any where near a comparison to his).

I have many stories due to a lifetime of collected memories, thanks to family, friends, pets, career, life experiences, fun times and sad times. I try to posture life in a opportunistic light, letting the shadows do what they will. Even the shadows of life can be humorous, eventful, and educational.

Not to be too boastful in this statement: I can tell a story. I may embellish the stories a bit so a picture is painted, a memory is sparked, and a smile is captured. The intent is to entertain. Check back often as I’ve also been known to exercise an editorial license after posting a story (my thoughts usually come to me faster than I can type…and my proofreading skills, well…they’re bad sometimes).

I hope you enjoy the stories. Feel free to share your comments…one never knows how long I will keep this up or what I might talk about next time. If you want to know something about me, post a comment – I’ll tell you a story.

  1. As always, you captured the day’s memories in colorful word. As much as I enjoy reading your blogs after each life event, I know that I will enjoy them, and appreciate them even more, months and years from now. Thanks, Tim, and keep up the good work. You are now the May Family Historian! bec :o )
