Times must be tough, or getting that way

While about town last week, I snapped a few random photos….

I’m still trying to decide if this is the originality of Texans on display, or perhaps an indication of how the lousy economy is catching up with north Texas? It might be a combination of both.

Businesses become more diverse in their services offered (someone must have previously stolen all the capital "I"'s from this sign)

the mailbox fell over and all that was affordable was to pile up some rocks and stick the box on top

this guy didn't have enough rocks when his mailbox fell over...so he made do with available resources (aka junk)

bullies in the neighborhood took his lunch money, and then did this to his shoes...that's so not right

Sales are down at the local Ken-Taco-Hut - so they "plant" lovely plastic flowers (and skimped on the quantity I might add)

I saw several drivers try to run this optimist off the road (I wonder why the charging bulls with sharpened horns flank this...slogan?)
